1:20 F1 Driver Figure (A) is a figure of a Formula 1 driver in 1:20 scale, version A from the Hobby Design line.

The 1:20 scale is the traditional choice for models of Formula 1 cars, and most of the large single-seaters on the market hold to it. A driver figure is therefore exactly the accessory most often missing on such a model: a cockpit without a crew looks empty, and a finished car with a figure comes across as livelier at once.
However well a single-seater is built, in the end it is only a technical object. As soon as a person is added to it, the viewer gains a comparison of sizes and the scene turns into a slice of the circuit - whether that is the start, a pit stop, or the plain presentation of a car in front of the garage. The designation A sets this version apart from the other form in the same line, so the two figures can be stood side by side without looking like copies.
A driver's race suit tends to carry the colors of the team and the sponsors' elements, except that these are hard to paint in this scale; it pays to keep the areas clean and to suggest the fine lines rather than overdo them. If you are placing the figure in the cockpit, check the seating before painting, as adjustments are hard to make once it is varnished. Leave the helmet gloss; the suit and the gloves should stay matte.
