Model Craft flexible sanding pads 80x30x12 mm (P60 to P1000)

A set of flexible sanding pads for modelers. The springy core makes it possible to follow rounded and intricate shapes, so you reach places a rigid sanding block cannot. The set covers the grits P60, P100, P240, P400, P600 and P1000, from coarser leveling to fine polishing before painting. The pads are washable and can be used again and again.

Use

  • Level casting seams and lugs with the coarser grits (P60 to P240) and smooth the surface with the finer ones (P400 to P1000).
  • Thanks to their flexibility they follow rounded fuselages, fenders and leading edges well.
  • They can be used dry or wet; wet sanding cuts down dust and extends their life.
  • Rinse them with water after use and let them dry.

Who it is for

For modelers at every level who need to sand shaped surfaces of plastic and resin parts reliably before painting.

Dry sanding creates dust: work in a ventilated room, ideally by sanding wet.
