The set contains self-adhesive holographic film for a faithful imitation of the glass of the vision ports, periscopes and optical instruments on a model of the Israeli Merkava Mk.III main battle tank (the variant for low intensity conflict, LIC) in 1:35 scale. The film is cut into shapes matching the individual vision ports and once stuck on it creates a realistic colored glint of glass. It is a small but striking accessory, not a standalone model.

The real subject

The Merkava is an Israeli main battle tank with the unconventional layout of a front-mounted engine, which increases the protection of the crew. The Mk.III version is among the modernized ones, and the adaptation for low intensity conflict adds features for service in urban and asymmetric environments. The tank has a great many observation ports, which the holographic film livens up strikingly on a model.
