The Unicorn Gundam differs from the other mobile suits at first glance: it carries an almost all-white armor and a single vertical horn on its head, after which it got its name. In the story the machine can rebuild itself into a combat form in which the armor opens out and reveals a glowing inner frame. It is exactly this contrast of a white surface and a light inner structure that made it one of the most popular machines of the whole material.
It is a plastic model of a robot intended to be assembled and displayed. Releases of the same subject differ in size, in the number of parts and in how many movable elements the model has, so always take the extent of the package and the building procedure from the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer.
Separate the parts with nippers a little away from the part and even the remainder out with a sharp blade and fine abrasive paper. On a white surface the cleaning up shows more than on dark colors, so give it time. Wash and degrease the surface before painting. Set the inner structure apart from the white armor in a deep shade and run a dark glaze into the joints between the panels, then wipe the excess away. The joints do not mind being tightened now and again, but hold the model by the body when carrying it.
The model will be appreciated by collectors and modelers who want a striking and easily recognizable piece in a display case. The build makes do with ordinary modeling tools and with patience in cleaning up.
