A resin set in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Aires, which replaces the exhaust nozzles of the engines on a model of the legendary reconnaissance aircraft Lockheed SR-71A Blackbird. The nozzles are rendered in the open position and with the faithful internal detail that injected plastic cannot capture. The set is intended for a plastic kit of the Blackbird in this scale (the Revell kit). It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory for more experienced modelers.
The complete exhaust nozzles of both engines in the open state. The resin castings have fine ribbing and depth, so once painted the engine section acts far more realistically than the parts from the basic kit.
