A resin figure of a British tank crewman in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand PANZER ART, the manufacturer's part number FI35-191. The manufacturer offers it as the second figure of a pair of British tank crewmen from Normandy: under the code FI35-190 it has figure number 1 and under FI35-192 both of them together as a set.
British armored units fought in Normandy from June 1944 in Shermans, Cromwells and Churchills. Crews wore one-piece coveralls, in warm weather short-sleeved shirts, and the black beret of the Royal Armoured Corps; inside the vehicle a cloth helmet with earphones was added to it. It is exactly these small things that decide whether a model of a vehicle looks like equipment in the field or like an exhibit on a plinth.
Wash the casting in warm soapy water and cut the casting blocks off; do not breathe in resin dust and sand wet. It is bonded with super glue. Acrylic paints and thin glazes suit both the skin and the khaki cloth, and the shadows in the folds come out better with oil paints or a wash. Apply the paint only over primer, otherwise it rubs off the smooth resin.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
