A set of stowage and equipment for a model of the British AEC Mk.II armored car in 1:35 scale. It fills the bare surfaces of the vehicle with convincing small items.
Responsibility details are not available.
The AEC Mk.II was a British armored car of the period of the Second World War. Against the first form it received a larger turret with stronger armament and so belonged among the heaviest British vehicles of its class. In photographs from the front these cars are almost always wrapped in the crew's baggage, because a crew carried with it everything that could be tied down somewhere.
An add-on set of stowage and equipment for a model in 1:35 scale. On armored vehicles stowage means the crates, bags, rolled tarpaulins, shelter halves and cans distributed over the hull, the fenders and the turret. What exactly the set contains and where the individual parts are best placed are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are not polystyrene, so glue them with cyanoacrylate. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, otherwise the paint holds badly on them. It is more practical to paint the stowage separately from the vehicle and glue it on only at the end, because each piece tends to be shaded differently. Try the distribution dry first and keep to the logic of the vehicle: stowage belongs where it does not get in the way of the hatches and the view out.
The set suits modelers who are building a vehicle into a scene or who want to break up the empty surfaces of the upper part of the car. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
