An unassembled injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese maker Aoshima in 1:24 scale. The subject is the Toyota Celica in the Liftback 2000GT form, that is, a sports coupe with a sloping tailgate and a two-liter engine of the GT range. The set is meant to be glued together and painted.
The Celica was one of the best-known Japanese sports coupes of its day. The Liftback body, with a smoothly falling tail and a large tailgate, gave the car a look of its own. The 2000GT version built on a two-liter engine and a sportier chassis, which placed it among the sought-after forms of the range.
Spray the body with surfacer and a gloss clear coat with an airbrush, so that the clean lines of the liftback come out. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and clean the joints up carefully. The sporting details, the grille and the wheels will reward concentrated finishing. Glue the clear parts with a glue that does not fog them.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
