The Datsun Sunny Truck is a Japanese light commercial vehicle derived from the small Sunny passenger car. At the front it kept the cab and the nose of the passenger car, and at the rear it got an open bed with drop sides and a folding tailgate. It arose as a cheap working vehicle for tradesmen, shops and nurseries, but it was precisely its undemanding engineering and small size that later made it a popular car among fans of modifying, who like the combination of a small body and an open bed. The Long Body description in the name marks the version with a lengthened bed, and Deluxe a better equipped trim level.
A plastic kit in 1:24 scale. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The number of parts, the form of the chassis and the interior, the extent of the decal sheet and whether the package holds clear plastic parts and tires are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Paint the body before you fit the glazing and the small external parts onto it. Wash and degrease it before painting, because fingerprints show through a smooth finish. Apply the shade in several thin coats and let the surface dry thoroughly between them. It pays to set the load floor of the bed apart: a slight darkening and a hint of wear at the tailgate will bring it closer to a vehicle that really was used for something. Glue the glazing only with a product meant for clear parts.
Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
