An injection-molded plastic kit of the circuit Toyota Supra Turbo of the A70 generation in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa. The boxing captures the car in the specification of Japanese touring car racing of the second half of the nineteen-eighties, in the colors of the Tom's team with sponsorship from the Fujitsu Ten brand. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Supra of the A70 generation was produced from 1986 and in its most powerful versions a forced-induction inline six with drive to the rear wheels powered it. Modified Supras ran at that time in the Japanese touring car championship, where the international rules of Group A applied: a production body, precisely defined interventions in the engine and the suspension, and prominent aerodynamic additions. Tom's was among the leading teams connected with Toyota, and its cars carried the colors of partners, among whom was the audio brand Fujitsu Ten.
The model is made up of several separate units, which are joined only at the end — the body, the floor pan with the wheels, the power unit and the interior of the car. Put each subassembly together dry first, check the fit and only then glue with a thin cement for plastic. Paint the body before you join it with the rest: a cured primer is followed by the covering shade, gloss varnish, the decals and a final layer, which sinks them into the surface. Fill the gaps between the body parts and sand them with gradually finer grits, and finish the tiny parts with a brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
