A small hatchback in racing-pitched dress, worked up by the Alpha Model brand as a cast set in 1:24 scale. The material of the range is resin, so before building the parts need cleaning, dressing of the edges and a trial fit. The compact dimensions of the subject make the model a rewarding companion to larger cars in a collection.
The third generation of the Honda Fit, known in Europe as the Jazz, has been sold since 2013 and in Japan carries the code GK5. Under the hood of the version the tuning scene builds on works a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter gasoline four-cylinder with variable valve timing. The Japanese shop Spoon Sports builds on lightening, carefully worked cylinder heads and an unmistakable look well known to visitors of circuit meets.
Cut the small parts off only just before fitting them and work with tweezers so that they are not lost. The pronounced two-tone treatment of the subject calls for good masking tape and patience at the transitions. The engine bay comes alive with thin wires imitating the lines and the wiring. Finish the chassis and the inside of the car before you close the body over them.
The model is sold as a set of parts. The finish, the glue and any accessories are up to the modeler.
