A plastic kit of the Mazda Savanna GT in late-type racing form, 1:24 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Mazda Savanna is a Japanese coupe from the beginning of the 1970s that made its name mainly on the circuits. The racing cars differed from the production ones at first glance: they had wider fenders, different wheels and a stripped interior. The late-type addition in the name refers to the later form of the racing conversion, that is, to the car as it looked in a later period of its use. For a modeler it is a rewarding subject, because it combines a simple angular body shape with pronounced racing features.
It is a kit of a passenger car in 1:24 scale, in the racing form given in the name. The range of parts, the rendering of the interior and the color options are described in the instructions enclosed with the kit.
A racing car will take a different approach to the surface than a production car. The finish does not have to be polished to a high gloss; the result often looks more convincing when it stays a little less than perfect. What does pay off is time spent on the interior, because on racing conversions it is usually clearly visible. Wash the body parts in lukewarm water with detergent before spraying and let them dry, and lay the finish down in thin coats. Apply the decals and lettering only onto dry paint, and check the flat areas in advance so that they do not break over an edge.
For modelers who enjoy Japanese circuit cars of the 1970s and want a subject with a pronounced racing look for the display case. Paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
