1:24 Lamborghini Aventador Detail Up Set for Aoshima 051207

A supplementary set for the Lamborghini Aventador

A set of supplementary parts in 1:24 scale for the Lamborghini Aventador car. The name ties it to the kit of the Aoshima brand, which it determines by the number 051207. A supplementary set replaces simplified elements with a finer execution and adds details that will not fit into a kit.

The real subject

The Aventador is the top Lamborghini car of the last decade. It has the engine mounted in the middle, behind the crew, and the doors on it open upward, as is the custom in the highest range of this brand. In shape it is a sharply cut body made up of flat surfaces and edges, without soft transitions. For a modeler that means two things: every unevenness of the paint is visible at once on a flat surface and, conversely, work well done stands out, because the light breaks sharply across a body like this.

Building and painting tips

• First compare the parts from the set with the kit and try to seat them dry.
• Remove the original simplified element carefully and bit by bit, so that you do not damage the surrounding area.
• Tip the small parts out onto a light mat with an edge and work with tweezers.
• Choose the glue according to the material of the part; with parts that are not of polystyrene, super glue in a small amount proves itself.
• Apply super glue sparingly, as its fumes leave a white haze on glossy paint.
• The exact procedure and the list of parts are stated by the manufacturer in the instructions.
