1:24 Nissan R30 Skyline Turbo Gr.5 is a plastic kit of the Japanese Group 5 circuit racer built on the basis of the R30-generation Skyline, from the manufacturer Aoshima.

This kit from Japan's Aoshima covers the circuit version of the R30-generation Nissan Skyline in Group 5 form, that is, a machine from the era when production coupes turned into wide road-going specials with a minimum of parts in common with the production version. The model is injection-molded in plastic and is built with ordinary automotive technique, where the quality of the paint and of the decals plays the biggest part.
The R30-generation Skyline was sold in the first half of the 1980s and in Japan became one of the pillars of domestic circuit racing. The Group 5 racing form received a turbocharged engine, drastically widened fenders, a front splitter and a large rear wing. These machines ran in the Japanese series for so-called super silhouette specials, which earned a reputation among spectators as the wildest circuit cars of their day.
First clean any mold release residue off the body, and only then apply the primer. Spray the paint in several thin coats and let it cure properly before the decals go on. Lay the extensive sponsor decals on a gloss base and use a decal softener so that they bed into the recesses. At the end, go over the body with a clear coat and polish it if you wish. Paint the wheels, the brakes and the radiator frame separately before you seat them in the wheel wells.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
