Master Box Pin-up series Kit No. 2 (1:24) is a collectible plastic figure of an American pin-up girl in the period style of the 1940s.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic figure from the pin-up series of the Ukrainian manufacturer Master Box. It captures an American girl styled after the period posters of the 1940s and is aimed at collectors and at modelers who like to add a figure outside the usual military hardware to a display case. The set contains one figure on a sprue; the assembly and the painting are left to the modeler.
Pin-up motifs come from the American popular culture of the Second World War, when painted girls decorated posters, magazines and the fuselages of aircraft as nose art. Master Box treats this theme in a complete range in which every release has its own figure and pose; kit number 2 is a separate variant differing from the other releases in the series.
Separate the small parts carefully and clean up the mold parting lines; use liquid cement on the plastic. You will appreciate an airbrush for smooth transitions on the skin and a conventional brush for the details; a unifying varnish and a fine wash will bring out the folds and the recesses.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
