An accessory for the cabin of a car model. The car is not in the package; these are the seats alone, meant to be swapped in for the simplified part from a kit. Besides the Edirb Stradia designation the name also carries the letter H, with which the manufacturer sets the individual sets apart within its line of sporting seats.
The Stradia belongs among the half-bucket seats of the Japanese school: a rigid composite back, pronounced support for the chest and the thighs and a low-set cushion. Against a full bucket shell it is more comfortable on longer journeys; against an ordinary seat it holds the body substantially more firmly through a corner. That is exactly why it appears in cars that are used on the road during the week and head out to a circuit or a mountain pass at the weekend.
The back shell can take a different surface than the upholstery, so first lay out where the division is going to be and cover the edge with a narrow mask. Stitching can be suggested with a very dark shade drawn into the groove; pull the excess off with a dampened wooden stick. Paint the rails under the cushion in metal before gluing it in, because once it is seated a brush will not reach them. Try dry whether the backrest collides with the door panel.
