An injection-molded plastic kit of the Swedish long-distance truck Volvo F16 Globetrotter in the release with a canvas body and a hydraulic tail lift from the maker Italeri in 1:24 scale. The model includes a detailed Globetrotter cab and the load area; the finished rig measures around 37.5 cm. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The Volvo F16 appeared on the market in 1988 and drew attention with a powerful drivetrain with high output, low consumption and low operating costs. The spacious Globetrotter cab offered drivers on long-distance routes exceptional comfort and it became a byword. The release with a canvas body and a hydraulic tail lift was popular with carriers over medium and long distances, because it made the loading and unloading of goods easier.
Paint the cab, the chassis and the body separately and fit them together only after the base coat. The cab stands out on a glossy base sprayed smooth; the chassis, the tanks and the axles, on the other hand, will appreciate weathering - a wash into the recesses and dust pigments on the underside. Leave the chrome elements without varnish. Fit the canvas and the hydraulic tail lift at the end, so that the frame is easier to reach.
