NF9 rims in the twenty-one-inch size together with tires.

A complete pair of a rim and a tire saves work for anyone who does not want to look for shoes separately. What makes the difference against the discs alone in this line is the shoes being included, and it is the same across the whole range. The NF9 pattern came about in cooperation between the Vossen and Novitec makes and carries a dense spoke grid of the kind that appears on conversions of cars from Maranello and Sant'Agata.
The tire and the disc are separate pieces, so a real edge of the rim comes about between them. From the outside that shows as a crisp transition from rubber into gloss metal, and from the inside in the dish staying open once the tire is on, with a full-fledged inner wall looking into the arch. A series wheel from the box, by contrast, is one casting where both the tire and the rim share the same plastic and the boundary between them is only an engraved groove.
The assembly rewards patience. Paint the disc first and let it cure perfectly, and only then put the tire on. The opposite order tends to end with fingerprints in fresh paint. The seating edge can be run over lightly with a blade from the inside when the tire goes on stiffly. Force does not pay off, because a tire stretched too far will remember an oval for good and nobody will give it a round shape back.
Twenty-one inches is above the standard for 1:24 scale, and few series bodies will accommodate it without intervention. Try the wheel in the arch dry, watch the clearance at the inner edge of the fender and adjust the height of the axle seating if need be. A difference of a few tenths of a millimeter decides whether the car will roll freely on a surface or only stand on it.
