Yamamoto Model Parts 1:24 water radiator, variant B is a detail part for the engine compartment of models of cars. It is not a kit but an accessory for a base model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not a model of a car and not a kit. It is a separate detail part representing a water radiator for the engine compartment of a model in 1:24 scale. The manufacturer is Yamamoto Model Parts, a brand focused on accessories for tuning, modified and racing builds. The letter B in the name distinguishes one of the forms which the manufacturer offers side by side; check the differences between them in the manufacturer's catalog.
On a model with an open hood the radiator is one of the first parts to catch the eye. The plastic version from a kit tends to be a compromise, with a coarse or only suggested drawing of the core. A separately made part has a markedly finer structure and sharper edges on the frame, so it stands up to a close look and to a photograph. In rebuilds a radiator of a different shape from the one the stock car had is also often added.
Wash the part in lukewarm soapy water and let it dry properly. Cut the remains of the casting system away with a saw or a cutter; do not break them off. It is sanded wet and with protection of the airways. It is glued with super glue, as ordinary glue for plastic does not hold. Apply a primer before painting. The core of the radiator looks best in a dark metallic shade brought out with a dry brush, and the frame is usually set apart with an aluminum or a paint color. Hoses and connectors are added from wire or tubing.
It is an add-on part, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
