This accessory set holds a precisely turned metal barrel for the main gun and a copper towing cable with resin eyes for building the American M18 Hellcat tank destroyer in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit of the vehicle but an upgrade meant for models of the M18 Hellcat. The manufacturer is the Polish brand Eureka XXL, a specialist in turned barrels and copper cables.
The metal barrel replaces the plastic part from the box; it has a perfectly circular section, a sharp muzzle and does away with joining two halves. The copper towing cable is pliable, drapes faithfully and with the cast eyes makes a realistic towing device stowed on the hull of the vehicle.
Sand the metal barrel where it seats and glue it with super glue or with a two-part adhesive. Cut the cable to the length needed and fix the ends in the cast eyes with super glue. Degrease before painting and lay on a primer suitable for metal.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base Tamiya kit are not included in the package.
