A set of modeling paints aimed at the colors of the American railroad company Union Pacific. The fifth volume of a line devoted to the classic American railroads.
Responsibility details are not available.
Union Pacific is one of the oldest and largest freight railroads in the United States. Its machines can be recognized from a distance, and modelers who take up the American railroad deal with the colors as the first thing: without the right shades even a precisely built model looks like someone else's machine. This set is the fifth volume of a line devoted to the classic American railroad companies and concentrates precisely on Union Pacific.
It is a set of paints put together around one theme, not a single bottle. The shades are chosen so that they follow one another and can be used side by side on one model. The composition of the set is stated on the packaging. Paints from such a set are useful beyond the railroad too, wherever you need the shades of industrial coatings.
The thinner meant for this line and the thinning ratio are given by the manufacturer on the packaging; keep to those instructions, because a thinner from another line can curdle the paint. Stir the contents thoroughly before taking any out, as pigment settled at the bottom is common with modeling paints. Apply in several thin coats and let each one dry, as one heavy coat floods the engraving and the detail disappears. On smooth plastic the paint holds better if you first wash the surface, degrease it and go over it with a primer.
For builders of railroad models and dioramas with an American theme, and for anyone looking for the shades together rather than putting them together one by one. The model, the brushes and the airbrush are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
