An injection-molded plastic kit of the American Mercury Cyclone GT coupe of the 1967 model year from the AMT brand in 1:25 scale. The parts are molded in white, clear and transparent red, and the package is supplemented by chrome-plated elements, soft rubber tires and a sheet of water-activated decals. The assembled model measures approximately twenty centimeters.
The Mercury Cyclone GT belonged to the sporting top of the Mercury brand's range and was built around a powerful V8 engine. A striking front end, bucket seats and a dual exhaust made it the period answer to the growing demand for powerful mid-size cars.
Join the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic. It is advisable to treat the body with primer before painting and to paint it with an airbrush or from a can in thin coats. Glue the glazing and the chrome-plated parts only at the end with cyanoacrylate glue, so that they do not fog. Gloss varnish under the decals will make it easier to settle them and will unify the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
