The set contains the open service panel giving access to the fuel system, which on a model reveals the internal structure normally hidden under a closed cover and gives the model the look of maintenance in progress. It is not an aircraft kit but a separate upgrade part.
The A-10 Thunderbolt II is a rugged single-seat attack aircraft for close support of ground forces. Service and access panels on the fuselage and the wing allow maintenance of the fuel system; in the open position they are a rewarding motif for dioramas and ground-handling scenes.
Wash the parts, cut them from the casting blocks and attach them with super glue. Paint the interior surfaces separately, add technical stencils and bring out the recesses with a wash for a faithful effect.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as separate resin parts. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
