About product

Fairey Gannet wheel bay masking plugs 1:48 (Omask)

These are shaped masking fillers that close off the wheel bays during spraying and protect them against paint running in and against dust. It is not a kit or a set of model parts; it is a painting accessory for Fairey Gannet models in 1:48 scale.

Use

  • Insert the plugs into the wheel bays before spraying.
  • Spray the exterior color and remove the plugs once it has dried.
  • The bays stay clean, with no overspray and no paint running in.
  • It saves the laborious filling of the bays with masking putty.

Who it is for

For modelers who want to protect the wheel bays quickly and cleanly during painting.

A painting accessory, not a part of the model. Paints and a model are not included in the package.
