An injection-molded plastic kit of the French FCM 36 light tank in 1:35 scale from the French label Heller. The model captures the distinctive faceted armored hull with its riveted look and the turret with a short gun.
The FCM 36 was a French light infantry tank developed just before the Second World War by the Forges et Chantiers de la Méditerranée shipyard. It had a crew of two men, and the armament was made up of a short 37 mm gun and a coaxial 7.5 mm machine gun. It stood out for its sloped armor and a diesel engine. It was put into action in the fighting against the German army in May and June 1940.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. On a tank we recommend assembling and painting the running gear before the hull is closed up. For a realistic look, a primer, matte paints and weathering with washes and pigments suit, making mud and dust effects. The sloped surfaces are rewarding for bringing the edges out with a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
