Saint Javeline 1, 2022 is a set of figures in 1:35 scale from Master Box, the sixth part of its series devoted to the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of figures in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer Master Box belongs to its series devoted to the Russian-Ukrainian war as the sixth part. It is not a model of a vehicle or of any equipment: these are figures for a diorama and for vignettes with a present-day subject.
The Master Box series maps the events of 2022 and works with both civilian and military scenes that became part of the picture of the war at that time. The name of the set refers to a motif that spread in 2022 as a symbol of Ukrainian defense and that joined period iconography with the designation of a Western anti-tank system. The other sets in the series cover the defense of Kyiv and Kharkiv, territorial defense, refugees, medics and special operations units, so they can be combined into a larger scene.
With present-day subjects, restraint is what matters. Modern camouflage patterns go on better in several thin coats than in one heavy one, and it is worth setting small items of gear apart by tone, not by color alone. Faces and hands are painted separately, brightening the raised areas step by step. Dust and dirt on the boots and on the lower part of the clothing settle a figure into the scene and tie it to the base. A matte coat finishes the whole.
