AFRO SHADOW – COLOR PUNCH is a paint from the Spanish brand AK interactive. The COLOR PUNCH line follows on from this brand's third generation acrylic program, so it is a paint on an acrylic base. The shades in the line are listed under trade names of their own, given exactly as the manufacturer named them, without translation.
A thin coat is the foundation of a good result. One heavy coat floods the engraving and the fine relief, while two or three thin ones let the detail stand out. Stir the bottle thoroughly before each use, as the pigment settles at the bottom, and try the shade out first on an offcut of plastic.
The shades of this line react to the surface underneath: a light base makes them glow, a dark one subdues and deepens them. Take the choice of the surface underneath as part of the color plan, then, not as a formality. Do not mix the paint with products of another chemical base until you have checked compatibility on a sample, and wipe the neck of the bottle after the work, so that the cap does not stick.
Store the paint tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Work in a well ventilated room.
