Apply the paint in thin coats and let each one dry. One heavy coat floods the engraved detail and the model loses its definition, while several thin ones hold the detail. Stir the bottle well before use and try the shade out somewhere other than on the model, for example on a scrap of plastic.
The surface underneath has a decisive effect on how the shade comes across, so decide in advance whether you want to lift the result with a light base or deepen it with a dark one. Do not combine the paint with products on a different chemical base without trying it on a sample, or you risk curdling or uneven drying. Wipe the neck of the bottle after work and screw the cap down firmly.
Store the paint tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Work in a well-ventilated room.
