The resin 3D-printed accessory Bf 109G-6 engine PRINT in 1:72 scale from Eduard (the Brassin line). A detailed Daimler-Benz engine including the cowlings for a build with the powerplant exposed. This is an accessory set, not an airplane model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed engine accessory set for the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 in 1:72 scale. The set is produced by direct 3D printing from resin and contains the richly broken-down inverted V12 Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine together with its cowlings. It lets you build the model with the engine section exposed. This is not a stand-alone model but an upgrade for a kit.
An exposed engine is a rewarding subject both on a diorama and in a display case. 3D printing captures the fine detail of the block, the exhausts and the accessories that injection-molded plastic cannot manage in this scale. The cowlings are usually included as well, so the engine can be displayed partly or fully opened up.
Wash any print resin residue off the parts and separate them from the print supports. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and protect your airways when sanding. Paint the engine block in metal and gray shades, bring out the details with a wash and dry-brushing, and pick out the hoses and wiring subtly in different colors.
A resin accessory set. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
