The Mil Mi-17 is a twin-engined multipurpose helicopter of the Mi-8 family, widespread in military and civilian operation all over the world. It is used for carrying people and loads, and in armed versions for the support of ground units as well. The glazing of the pilot's cabin is extensive and the cargo compartment has windows on both sides, so what is inside is visible on a finished model too.

Lay out the order of the work according to where the individual parts belong. Everything that goes inside the fuselage has to be fitted and painted before the halves of the fuselage are joined; once glued, you will not get in there. Mask the glazing before spraying. Join the parts that are not of polystyrene with cyanoacrylate glue, because cement for plastic does not hold on them.
