An accurate modeling accessory from Top Studio. These are miniature tapered fittings with a hexagonal head 1.2 mm in diameter that replace indistinct plastic imitations of couplings and unions. It is not a model kit but a set of detail parts meant to improve a model you already have.
Fittings with a hexagonal head represent the couplings of hoses, of fuel and oil lines or of hydraulics. The tapered shape suits above all the places where a line meets the engine block, the brake calipers or the tanks. The accessory noticeably raises the realism of the engine bay and the chassis on collector models of cars and motorcycles.
The parts are seated on a cleaned-up spot and bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or two-part epoxy: ordinary plastic cement does not hold here. Before gluing we recommend trying the part dry and degreasing it. Combining them with colored lines in tubing or wire gives the joint its final look.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
