A kit of the Jetstream Super 31 airliner in 1:72 scale, in the form with five-blade propellers. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Jetstream is a British twin-engined turboprop airliner for short routes, built for around nineteen passengers. It is a low-wing monoplane with a narrow fuselage, a pointed nose and engine nacelles on the wing, that is the kind of type that in the 1980s and 1990s linked smaller towns with the big airports. The Super 31 form is a later shape of the machine; in it the aircraft stayed the same size but went through changes that added to its performance.
The name gives the release as the version with five-blade propellers, so you know in advance which shape of the machine you will build; it is the propellers that are the identifying feature of this type and the first thing you notice on a finished model. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The number of parts, the choice of markings and the color plan are given in the instructions in the package. In 1:72 scale the finished model fits comfortably into a display case beside larger airliners, and in a family of civil aircraft it makes a welcome change.
For builders of civil aircraft and for collectors of regional routes who want smaller machines in a display case as well, not only big airliners. Paints, glue and add-on sets are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
