Omask wheel bay plugs for the F-5 Freedom Fighter 1:48

This set from Omask contains shaped flexible foam plugs that fill the landing gear bays of a model of the F-5 Freedom Fighter in 1:48 scale exactly. The plugs are simply pushed into the bays before spraying and close them off reliably, so that neither paint nor dust gets inside and you do not have to mask laboriously with tape.

Use

  • Press the plugs into the landing gear bays before painting and varnishing.
  • Spray the outer surfaces of the model; the foam protects the inside of the bays.
  • Take the plugs out once the paint has dried, and the bay stays clean in its original color.
  • The foam can be used again as long as it keeps its shape.

Who the set is for

It will be appreciated by anyone building this type of aircraft who wants to save the lengthy masking of awkwardly shaped bays. It is neither a paint nor a kit but a masking aid.

Paints and the model are not included in the package.
