A set of precisely laser-cut kabuki masks from the Czech manufacturer New Ware in 1:48 scale at the highest EXPERT level. It is intended for models of the T-45A and T-45C Goshawk jet trainer. Kabuki tape follows the shape of the parts exactly, holds well and leaves no marks when peeled off.

The real subject

The T-45 Goshawk is a jet trainer of the US Navy derived from the British Hawk and adapted for training on aircraft carrier decks. It serves for advanced training of fighter and attack pilots.

Use

• The EXPERT level is the most comprehensive: besides masking the canopy inside and out and the wheels, it also contains masks for further details and additional pieces for exact placement.
• The individual masks are usually numbered and come with a placement diagram for easy orientation.
• The masks are applied to clean, degreased surfaces and their edges are pressed down for a tight seal.
• The paint is applied in thin coats so that it does not creep underneath.
