A set of resin air scoops for a kit of the light attack aircraft A-4 Skyhawk in 1:32 scale by the Czech brand Quickboost (a production range of the company Aires). It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory that replaces the flat plastic parts from the kit with sharply cast scoops of more faithful shape. The package contains several types of small scoops distributed around the fuselage of the aircraft.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was an American light carrier attack aircraft with a delta wing, nicknamed the Scooter. From the middle of the 1950s it served with the US Navy and Marine Corps and it flew for a long time with a number of foreign air forces as well. The characteristic small air scoops cooled the internal systems and are among the typical details of its airframe.
First wash the resin parts free of mold release agent and separate them carefully from the casting block; sand with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Glue the scoops in place of the original plastic parts and lightly sand and touch up any joint. Before painting, a primer helps with adhesion.
This is a resin accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
