It is not an aircraft model but a demanding detail set for experienced modelers. The package from the Czech maker Aires contains precisely cast resin parts showing the electronics bays of the A-7E Corsair II attack aircraft. Open bays with faithfully rendered avionics raise the realism of a large model in 1:32 scale considerably.
The LTV A-7 Corsair II was an American subsonic carrier attack aircraft. The A-7E version of the US Navy had a more powerful engine and modernized avionics and became the main strike variant flown from carrier decks.
Wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks with a saw and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Openings for the exposed bays will have to be cut into the model, so count on reworking the plastic.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
