The 1:32 A6M2/A6M5 Zero - wheels for TAM set from the Czech brand CMK is a resin replacement for the wheels of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M Zero carrier fighter in the A6M2 and A6M5 versions. It is an accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The manufacturer prepared the set for the 1:32 Zero model from Tamiya and lists it under the part number Q32111; it was released in 2010.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was a Japanese carrier fighter that combined long range with exceptional agility at the start of the war in the Pacific. The A6M2 Model 21 version had folding wingtips so that it fitted into the elevators of aircraft carriers; the later A6M5 Model 52 received a shorter rounded wing and separate exhaust stubs. The main landing gear retracted into the wing, and the tires with a smooth or only lightly patterned tread are among the details that are easy to study in a large scale on both versions.
For modelers of aircraft in the large 1:32 scale, where the pattern of the tire and the rim is easy to see and the plastic casting is at the limit of what it can do.
It is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
