A resin detail set of the cockpit in 1:32 scale from Aires, made for the Night Attack version of the AV-8B Harrier II. It replaces the cockpit of the base kit with a faithfully cast interior whose features match this version, usually together with photo-etched parts and an instrument film. It is an accessory for advanced modelers, not a standalone airplane model.
The AV-8B Harrier II Night Attack was the version of the American vertical take-off attack aircraft adapted for operating in reduced visibility and at night. Compared with the base version it carried additional sensors for night navigation and attack. The aircraft was powered by a Rolls-Royce Pegasus engine with vectored thrust and served with the US Marine Corps.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Pick out the instrument panel and the side consoles with a wash and a dry brush, and leave the glazing until the cockpit is finished. Check the fit in the particular 1:32 kit.
