The set focuses on the flight deck of this four-engine American bomber of the Second World War period. The instrument panels, side panels and controls are 3D-printed on a thin flexible film, so they have real relief and the full color of the dials and the lettering.
The elements are applied as wet decals: once released in water they are moved into place, where the flexible carrier follows the shape of the surface underneath. Use clean water without a softener, which attacks the printed resin. The large 1:32 scale brings out the richness of the cockpit detail.
