The Art Scale B-24J Liberator mask 1:32 is a single-sided set of painting masks for a clean spray of the glazing of a model of the American B-24J bomber from the Hobby Boss kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not an aircraft model but a set of self-adhesive painting masks in 1:32 scale from the Czech maker Art Scale (ASK). The masks are cut from thin adhesive film and make a crisp, precise spray of the frames of the glazed areas of the Hobby Boss kit possible. The single-sided designation means that the set masks the clear parts from the outer side. The B-24 has extensive glazing (the nose and dorsal stations, the gun turrets, the pilot's cockpit), so a mask shortens laborious masking with tape considerably.
The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War, deployed in mass in Europe and in the Pacific alike. The B-24J version was one of the most widespread and was marked by a new nose turret and an improved gunsight. The Liberator was built in enormous numbers and became one of the most heavily produced combat aircraft in history.
Peel the parts of the mask off with tweezers, seat them precisely on the frame and press them down firmly so that paint does not creep under the edge. Apply the paint in thin coats. The set usually contains numbered parts and instructions with the position of the individual masks.
This is an accessory (masks), not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
