This set from the manufacturer Quickboost contains a resin propeller - blades with the spinner - for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109F-2 fighter in 1:32 scale. It replaces the plastic parts from a kit with a more accurate casting with a faithful blade profile.
Quickboost are simple, quick replacement parts with no photo-etch or film - it is enough to clean them up, glue them on and paint them. The propeller is a display element of the front of an aircraft; a faithful blade shape and a clean spinner markedly lift the overall impression. Check that the propeller shape is correct for the F-2 subvariant.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent to remove the mold release agent residue, carefully cut off the casting blocks and lightly sand the cut surfaces. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) only; cement for plastic does not hold on resin. Sanding resin creates dust that is harmful to health, so work with respiratory protection.
