A resin correction part, correct bulges over the guns for the Bf 109G-5/-14 from the Czech brand Quickboost in 1:32 scale: an accessory, not a kit of the model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory from the Quickboost brand in 1:32 scale brings precisely shaped bulges on the upper engine cowling of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the G-5 and G-14 versions. It is not a model of the airplane but a pair of small correction parts that replace the inaccurate bulges from the plastic kit and give the nose a faithful profile.
Over the engine the G version carried a pair of 13 mm MG 131 fuselage machine guns, whose bulkier breech covers called for characteristic bulges on the cowling. It was from those that the Bf 109G got the nickname Beule, meaning bulge. The shape of the bulges differed slightly between the individual subversions, which is why the part is meant for the G-5 and the G-14. The parts from ordinary kits tend to be flat or inaccurate.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release residue. Cut off the casting block with a saw or a knife, sand the surface and protect your airways when sanding resin. Cut the original bulges off and replace them with the resin ones; glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting, for better adhesion.
It is supplied as a resin accessory for experienced modelers, not as a stand-alone kit. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
