The set holds resin gun barrels for the on-board armament of a model of the Bf 109G fighter in 1:32 scale. Quickboost is a brand of aftermarket accessories; the precisely cast barrels replace the simplified plastic parts from the kit and give the model faithful gun muzzles. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for raising the detail.
The Bf 109G, nicknamed Gustav, was the most widespread series of the German fighter of the Second World War. It was built in a number of subversions, which differed in armament and equipment.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, separate the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces down. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray the barrels with a primer and a metallic shade; the muzzles and the edges can be emphasized with a dry brush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
