The set contains three improved multiple weapon racks BRU-41/A (Improved Multiple Ejector Rack, IMER) in 1:32 scale from the Ukrainian brand Reskit. It is not a model of an aircraft but a resin (3D printed) accessory meant for more experienced modelers; the racks serve to hang several bombs on one pylon of models of the F/A-18A/B/C/D and the AV-8B.
The BRU-41/A is an improved multiple ejector rack used by the US Navy and the Marine Corps. It makes it possible to carry several bombs on one hardpoint and so extends the load capacity of the aircraft. It is in operational service on Hornet and Harrier II machines to this day.
Wash the parts free of the remains of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks and the print supports off and glue with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a primer and the paints with an airbrush; the fine detail of the racks will stand out after a bringing out of the panel lines and a light patina.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, bombs and the base model are not included in the package.
