1:32 De Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI is a set of three-dimensional decals for the interior of the cockpit in 1:32 scale from Red Fox Studio. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory for a plastic model from Tamiya.

This set from Red Fox Studio belongs among the three-dimensional (3D) decals intended to bring the cockpit of a plastic model to life. The color print has a relief structure, so once stuck down the instrument panel and the surfaces of the interior look plastic and the dials stay legible even without the laborious hand painting of small details. The set is cut for the Tamiya kit in 1:32 scale and is an accessory to it, not a model of the aircraft on its own.
The De Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine multi-role aircraft with a wooden airframe, powered by Rolls-Royce Merlin engines. The FB Mk.VI version was the fighter-bomber variant with fixed cannon and machine gun armament in the nose and with the ability to carry bombs or auxiliary tanks under the wing. It was used from 1943 for attacks on ground targets, for night operations and for escort tasks and was among the most numerously built versions of the whole type. The crew cockpit with its two men side by side is clearly visible on models in 1:32 scale, so detailed interior equipment pays off.
Three-dimensional decals differ from classic wet decals in that they are not released from their backing in water. They are applied to the cockpit parts before the fuselage is closed up, ideally onto a smooth and degreased surface. Follow the instructions of the maker of the set and try the parts dry beforehand, so that the shape fits the particular molding. It is advisable to have the surrounding surfaces of the cockpit painted and dry before you seat the details.
The set is an accessory for a kit. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
