The DH.82 Tiger Moth correction propeller 1:32 is a resin accessory set from CMK that refines the shape of the propeller for models of the Tiger Moth biplane in that scale. The propeller is made for the ICM kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin accessory set, not an airplane kit. It brings a more accurately shaped propeller for models of the de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth trainer biplane in 1:32 scale and serves as a replacement for the original plastic part, with a more faithful blade section.
The Tiger Moth was a British trainer biplane of the 1930s on which a whole generation of Commonwealth pilots trained during the Second World War. The wooden two-blade propeller with its characteristic shape is one of its recognition features, and that is why attention is drawn to it during a build.
First wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts in lukewarm water with detergent. Cut or saw the casting blocks off carefully and clean them up, and glue the part with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use respiratory protection when sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and meant for further work. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
