A photo-etched set of safety belts 1:32 for the Dornier Do 335B from the Czech manufacturer Eduard adds finely worked restraint belts to the cockpit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a standalone model. It contains finely worked restraint belts for the cockpit of the heavy Dornier Do 335 Pfeil fighter in 1:32 scale. The pre-painted self-adhesive parts capture the buckles, loops and the texture of the straps far more faithfully than the plastic or molded parts in a kit.
The Dornier Do 335 Pfeil was a German heavy fighter of the end of the Second World War with the unusual layout of two engines in tandem (a tractor at the front, a pusher at the rear). The Do 335B version was the heavily armed fighter variant. Thanks to its high performance the Do 335 was among the fastest piston aircraft of its day.
The belts are separated carefully from the fret with a sharp knife, shaped into a natural sag and seated on the seat. The self-adhesive version holds on its own; to be safe it can be secured spot by spot with super glue. The pre-painted parts do not have to be overpainted, only worked into the interior.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
