A photo-etched accessory in brass sheet intended for detailing the cockpit of the F-4E Phantom II fighter in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model or a kit but an add-on set for a more faithful rendering of the interior.
The photo-etched parts replace or complement elements of the crew compartment: instrument panels, side consoles, seatbelts, levers and other fine details that are hard to reproduce in plastic. Eduard interior sets tend to be partly color-printed, which makes building a faithful cockpit easier.
The parts are separated with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors, shaped with a bending tool and glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Color-printed surfaces only need to be pressed on carefully; unprinted metal parts are best degreased and repainted before spraying.
The accessory is supplied unassembled. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
