This resin detail set replaces the engine exhaust nozzle on the F-8 Crusader aircraft model in 1:32 scale. It brings finely cast nozzle walls with a faithful internal structure that the plastic part from the kit usually does not capture. This is not an airplane model but an accessory that raises fidelity.
The Vought F-8 Crusader is an American single-engine supersonic carrier-based fighter from the Cold War era. The F-8N variant is one of the later upgraded machines of the Crusader family. A characteristic feature of the aircraft was its variable-incidence wing, which eased take-off and landing on an aircraft carrier.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways when sanding. Pick out the inside of the nozzle in metallic shades and suggest the heat discoloration with fine washes and pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin accessory. Glue, paints and the airplane model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
