A set of seat belts for the F/A-18 Hornet and T-45 models in 1:32 scale, produced by 3D printing. An accessory for a cockpit, not a model in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory for the cockpits of two American carrier aircraft: the combat F/A-18 Hornet and the training T-45. According to the name the belts are produced by 3D printing and the scale is 1:32. It is not a kit nor an ejection seat but a set of belts fitted onto a seat you already have in the model.
At a large scale the cabin is practically the shop window of a model. A seat from the box tends to have the straps suggested by nothing more than a shallow relief, which once painted runs together with its surroundings. Separately produced belts have a thickness of their own, can be thrown over the edge of the shell and left to hang freely over the backrest, so that the seat stops looking like one cast piece. The difference is visible even with the canopy closed, because at a large scale enough light shines into the cabin.
For modelers who build the Hornet or the T-45 at a large scale and want the cabin finished down to the detail. The work is small, but at a large scale substantially more rewarding than at small scales.
The package holds the belts only. The seat, the cockpit, the kit, the paints and the glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
